Welcoming Joviale to the Ghostly roster
Joviale makes music that feels like a show; drama lies in the tension between pop impulse and something more cerebral and sensorial. A multidisciplinary artist from North London, they came up as a theater kid and now harness their prismatic creative expression across mediums, fusing components of visual art, performance, and recording into a singular world. In 2021, following their Hurricane Belle EP, which caught the attention of Pitchfork and Crack Magazine, they quietly receded from view in an effort to evolve and hone their skills as a writer and producer. Now, out from behind the curtains comes "Moonshine," previewing an electric, soulful, and jazzy new direction.

Ginger Root's SHINBANGUMI: A Music Movie premiered recently on [adult swim]'s Toonami and saw its first-ever VHS release (now sold out). The pop polymath has been touring the world over, including dates this summer supporting Japanese Breakfast.

C418's Minecraft soundtracks on tape
For all the vinyl repressings of C418's Minecraft soundtracks (which are stocked), they've never received a cassette release, until now. Out May 23rd, the tapes are available separately and bundled in a limited edition box set now up for pre-order. The colorway for Minecraft Volume Alpha is Green Sonic (opaque) with white ink, and Minecraft Volume Beta is Orange SW (opaque) with white ink when purchased individually and Red (opaque) with white ink in the box set.
